3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries and provide information about products and services we distribute or facilitate access to;

  • operate secure client areas, dashboards, and reporting you authorise;
  • send service-related notices, regulatory communications, and (where permitted) marketing about relevant offerings;

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data to guarantee investment outcomes; all investments involve risk.

4. Legal basis and consent

We process data where necessary to perform a contract or pre-contract steps you request, to comply with law (including SEBI/AMFI/AMPI requirements), for legitimate interests such as fraud prevention and service improvement (balanced against your rights), and where you have given consent—for example for optional marketing cookies or newsletters. You may withdraw consent where applicable without affecting lawfulness of prior processing.

5. Sharing and disclosures

We may share information with:

  • AMCs, PMS providers, AIF sponsors, registrars/RTAs, and platforms necessary to execute your instructions;
  • KYC/AML agencies, depositories, and banks as required;
  • technology providers (hosting, email, CRM, form tools, analytics such as Google Tag Manager, scheduling tools such as Calendly) under appropriate confidentiality and security terms;
  • professional advisers (legal, audit) bound by confidentiality; and
  • government or regulatory authorities when required by law.

International transfers, if any, will be undertaken only with appropriate safeguards permitted under applicable law.

6. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, meet regulatory record-keeping periods (which may extend several years for financial services), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When no longer required, we delete or anonymise data using reasonable technical measures.

7. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including access controls, encryption in transit where supported, and staff training. No method of transmission over the internet is fully secure; please use strong passwords and protect your account credentials.

8. Cookies and analytics

Our site may use cookies and similar technologies for essential operation, preferences, and analytics (e.g. Google Tag Manager). You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect site functionality.

9. Your rights

Subject to the DPDP Act and other applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict processing, nominate a contact, and grievance redressal. To exercise rights, email info@kalviroventures.com with sufficient detail to verify your identity. We will respond within timelines prescribed by law. If unsatisfied, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India as applicable.
